A$AP TyY Pays Homage To MLK Jr. On New Song "Luther"

It's been a hot minute since we heard new music from A$AP TyY. Although he emerged as the mastermind producer behind A$AP Rocky's singles, "Pe$o" and "Purple Swag," he's flourished into an artist in his own right. Over the past few years, he's been putting his best foot forth as a solo artist, flexing both his production and rapping skills. Now, he comes through with a new single to kick off a new year.

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr., A$AP TyY pays homage to the late civil rights leader with his new single, "Luther." The rapper's new single comes a few days after the Mob's annual Yams Day event. The rapper delivers a dreary and haunting track over ghostly production carried by strings and a haunting choir sample. TyY closes out the track with a snippet of Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have A Dream" speech.
