I agree with Red. I can't stand him

Every one has different tastes--he sure has written lots of good stuff, though

I think Dude is right. He has written some great tunes. He has also written some tunes that I can't stand that others find great. I don't like his voice. Lots of people do like him otherwise he wouldn't be such an enduring superstar in the music industry. Personal tastes are different.

I hear some of you have never had sex with a sheep......or 5.

That I just can't understand. :dunno:

I posted this elsewhere, but if you don't know his catalogue, you might not recognize this cover from Radiohead

Besides, anyone who writes these lyrics, is fine by me :)

Cinnamon Girl is good, even with him singing it. I like After The Gold Rush but his singing kills it for me. Prelude did a nice version of that song and the trio of Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris sounds great as well.

but still in all....... and as Lynyrd Skynyrd sang, "I hope Neil Young will remember, Southern Man don't need him around, anyhow."

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
