This has been a huge year for Jay Rock. The TDE artist achieved one of the best albums of the entire year with Redemption, wowing many of his potential doubters and cementing himself as one of the best rappers in the game right now. The TDE roster is stacked. They cover all bases with Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Ab-Soul, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, and everybody else. While Kendrick can pull off an array of different voices, he's never truly explored a Memphis twang. That's where Juicy J comes in.

The Three 6 Mafia artist has been working with some of his favorite acts in the game as of late. He's spending tons of time with the $uicideboy$ and now, he's working in the studio with Jay Rock. The two entertainers posted up in the studio as they posed from a few different angles. Juicy seems excited about whatever they were working on, teasing his fans that it'll be worth the wait. He wrote, "WE COOKIN."

Juicy J remains one of the more active musicians right now as he continually looks around to find what's popping. Hopefully, the end result of their studio session sounds as good as we're anticipating in our heads. Are you looking forward for this to surface?

You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
