After a sell out Easter Sunday with Greg Wilson, Slide return on Bank Holiday Sunday 28 May with a wonderful disco all dayer at POW Brixton.
Heading things up is the brilliant Late Nite Tuff Guy, after his triumphant Slide appearance last summer, plus regular guest and French edit king, The Reflex, with the brilliant crate digger Red Greg rounding things off. Support from residents across the venue.

Late Nite Tuff Guy is a new breed of disco vigilante, peddling the most credible of disco edits and accruing some serious acclaim from an illustrious roll call of industry people in the know. Greg Wilson, Jackmaster and Dimitri from Paris have been regularly playing a handful of LNTG tracks in any given set and their ongoing support is testament to the quality of his work.

Regular guest The Reflex supports...Nile Rodgers is a fan. Kid Creole is a fan. Disclosure, Jazzy Jeff, and Joris Voorn are all fans. Fascinated by the remix from an early age, London-based French native Nicolas Laugier, aka The Reflex, takes his cue from the first wave of disco remixers by using only the original sounds from the master tapes (or stems) to breathe new life into soul, pop and disco classics.

Red Greg has had a busy 2017, spinning at the likes of Mona Paris, Southern Soul Festival, Inner City Soul, XOYO, Altered Soul Experiments plus the Upcoming Liverpool Disco Festival.

    • Wait, Burning Man is going online-only? What does that even look like?
You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention.
But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
