Listen to Kendrick Lamar’s New Song “The Heart Part 4”

Kendrick Lamar has released a new song called “The Heart Part 4.” It’s a continuation of an ongoing series spanning his discography. Listen to the song on iTunes and below via Apple Music and Tidal. The announcement follows an Instagram post of the Roman numeral “IV” on Thursday, which Kendrick shared after wiping his prior posts. Kendrick recently spoke about a forthcoming record earlier this month, saying, “My focus is ultimately going back to my community and the other communities around the world where they’re doing the groundwork. To Pimp a Butterfly was addressing the problem. I’m in a space now where I’m not addressing the problem anymore.” At the end of the new song, Kendrick raps, “Y’all got ’til April 7 to get y’all shit together,” potentially teasing a new release. At another point, he says, “Donald Trump is a chump, know how we feel punk/Tell em that God comin', and Russia need a replay button, yall up to something.”

Last year, Kendrick put out untitled unmastered.—a collection of tracks he worked on while recording TPAB.

But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
