Jon Hopkins is an electronic producer from London and has worked with artists such as Imogen Heap, Brian Eno, and Coldplay. This song, Light Through the Veins, was incorporated into the beginning of Coldplay's Life in Technicolor- I prefer this.

You can find it on his original 2009 album, Insides, right HERE or at Spotify

Bonus: Check out the video of Jon Hopkins - Vessel (4 Tet Remix)

Hard to believe, but the Rolling Stones are touring again. (See the NYTimes review of their opening gig in Brooklyn.

Here is my favorite live version of Sympathy for the Devil, which was originally released in 1968 on the Beggars Banquet album, and was in part, inspired by my favorite book, The Master & Margarita.

Not sure whether this mix today of rock and electronics fits, but whatever, it's all good music Posted Image

I had high hopes for the New Radicals when they released the following pop gem. But they hated the politics of the music industry  and disbanded shortly after releasing the album, Maybe You've Been Brainwashed, Too in 1999 :(

Sigur Ros - Ny Batteri, off their live album "Inni". If only Jonsi sang in English, they'd be bigger than Justin Bieber... ha!

Here is their latest release:
