Well, the first trailer for Passengers is finally out in the wild (see below), and it seems pretty safe to say that our first look at the long-awaited sci-fi film lives up to the hype. It's been nearly a decade since Jon Spaihts' script for Passengers started making the rounds in Hollywood, and the story of the only two people awake on a fantastic spaceship filled with sleeping colonists has been generating serious buzz since first appearing on the 2007 edition of The Black List, the annual industry survey of the year's most popular unproduced scripts.
