Dr. Dre Searched by Police in Road Rage Incident: Report

Dr. Dre was handcuffed and searched outside his Malibu home in a road rage incident, according to TMZ. Their report says that a man stopped his car in front of Dre’s home, and when he asked the driver to move, the man obliged but allegedly cursed at Dre while he did it. Dre pulled into his driveway while the driver continued to yell at him, the report continues, so Dre grabbed his phone to record the incident. According to TMZ’s sources, the man said “Here we go again another black guy with a gun” when Dre reached for his phone. The man then allegedly called 911 to report someone with a gun. Upon arrival, Sherriff’s deputies reportedly handcuffed Dr. Dre and searched him, but they did not find a gun, so they released him. Watch a short video of the incident below.

      You could have been forgiven for missing the announcement that actual physical Burning Man has been canceled for this year, if not next. Firstly, the nonprofit Burning Man organization, known affectionately to insiders as the Borg, posted it after 5 p.m. PT Friday. That, even in the COVID-19 era, is the traditional time to push out news when you don't want much media attention. 
      But secondly, you may have missed its cancellation because the Borg is being careful not to use the C-word. The announcement was neutrally titled "The Burning Man Multiverse in 2020." Even as it offers refunds to early ticket buyers, considers layoffs and other belt-tightening measures, and can't even commit to a physical event in 2021, the Borg is making lemonade by focusing on an online-only version of Black Rock City this coming August.    Read more...
