the life aquatic with steve zissou

seu jorge's acoustic samba renditions of classic bowie tunes (in portuguese) made the movie, not just the soundtrack

without the songs, the movie would have been much less interesting

(wes anderson is great at integrating sound into film)
want something? pm's are very nice

I really like soundtracks, but even I don't own half of those so I can't comment on too too many. I do like polar express, and definitely like the john williams harry potter stuff that was nominated. I was somewhat let down by KB II though...not as good as the first one I thought...but eh, still not bad.

And Ray is just sweeeeeet.

Hi all
The best sound track of 2004 is Beyond the see. I like this track very much. This is best cool track. It has a great combination of lyrics and sounds.

I liked Ray...but the popular score among indie fans is definitely 'Garden State'

I cant say that I listened to the soundtrack of ANY of those movies, shame.
I did however watch a few and I would say that Ray was my favorite as far
as an in movie soundtrack. The Resident Evil movie had a few good
songs as well.

What would you consider the best period of your life so far? If you made a...about it what songs would be on the soundtrack? It was in 2004,

yes, i feel the Oscar wining movie million dollar baby holds a special place and the soundtrack is exceptional. It is a perfect craftsmanship of a director that reflect the sensation, the plight, the hardship and ultimately the victory.
