Richard "Scar" Lopez, founder of Cannibal & the Headhunters, has passed away. The Headhunters had a billboard hit in 1965 with "Land of 1000 Dances," He formed the band with several of his high school friends and went on to open for the Rolling Stones, the Beatles and the Righteous Brothers.

Stereophonics Drummer Stewart Cable Found Dead

Stuart Cable who was the drummer of Stereophonics has been found dead at his home in Wales. He was only 4i0 years old.

Emergency was called to Stewart�s home in the early morning hours on June 7, 2010, but was pronounced dead at the scene. It�s not yet known what caused his death. His mother Mable said:

�Stuart has traveled all over the world with the band and I have worried myself silly. He is now settled down and then this has happened. It has not sunk in yet.�

His brother Paul added:

�The family has no further comment to make at this stage. It is in the hands of the police.�
