  1. You're old enough now to be reviewed by one of those mobile Obama death panels you conservatives keep telling us about. Better buy ripe bananas from this point on...
  2. I've always suspected that rainbowdemon actually is Norman Greenbaum. My theory has never been denied or debunked.
  3. An update on this... http://www.findadeath.com/Deceased/F/Bobby...bobbyfuller.htm
  4. When he first emerged on the pop scene, his music was smug, pretentious and nuanced. Later, though, I feel that he actually did some pretty good rock and roll stuff. I can't say that period lasted very long, not more than a few years, but it does exist. He's now back to the scotch on the rocks, velvet Elvis mode, albeit now from the classical side of the street.
  5. The family has their reunions at the rehab facility. It's the only place they can all be sure of finding each other at a moment's notice.
  6. Paul McCartney may be headed to the hitching post again in the near future. Will this one be a better pick than the last screaming banshee? http://www.mirror.co.uk/2009/01/24/love-me...15875-21067815/

  8. You keep using words like genre and we're going to have to review your redneck credentials....there are plenty of other dumbass NRA Republicans in the south who may be more deserving
  9. Now you've done it Dude...fanned the flames of my Nicolette Larson thing. She shared the same birthday as me and was tremendously talented, but unfortunately is also tremendously deceased at way too young an age. Lotta Love
  10. His face shows his age, but his music is certainly forever relevant.
  11. I don't know if I can narrow it down to just one either, but one of these two guys probably did the best one ever:
  12. No sheet music here, but click the link to hear a young Aretha Franklin do the song...
  13. No more spam from you...real pork from now on.
  14. This is such an important day for so many people. The country rids itself of the worst, most divisive president ever, and swears in a man who gives hope to minorities, gives encouragement to the downtrodden, gives a rallying cry to those who have given up on our government, and gives the entire world the promise of a new approach to international diplomacy. He's got the toughest job facing him since Lincoln, or perhaps Franklin Roosevelt. one last goodbye to our 43rd president....
  15. I used to root for the St. Louis Cardinals football team 40 years ago when Jim Hart and Dan Dierdorf were their big stars. The Bidwell family owned the team back then too, and there was never a cheaper bunch of bastards anywhere. Go Steelers!
  16. Dude wore Thorpe's leather helmet on alternate Thursdays....
  17. Waiting anxiously for your anticipated corporation, I didn't get any message, but according to what I saw, he only wanted information about some corporations. I can't believe Dude didn't sell him some stock in his Spamco business...
  18. Rainbo has been very quiet about this game....were the Steelers screwed out of a touchdown?
  19. You're full of shit as usual, Koop.... http://www.answers.com/topic/bonnie-bramlett
  20. You might be thinking of Rita Coolidge singing with Joe Cocker. I don't think Delany & Bonnie were on that tour.
