- Pink Floyd regains control of its online music sales
Pink Floyd tracks may be removed from digital music services like iTunes after a High Court ruling.
Their latest record deal, signed with EMI before legal downloads came along, said individual songs must not be sold without the band's permission.
They argued that the same rule should apply to digital sales as well as CDs.
EMI disagreed but a judge has sided with Pink Floyd. The ruling is part of a long-running battle between the two sides over £10m in unpaid royalties.

- Smashing Pumpkins Holding Auditions To Recruit Two New Members
Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan is holding open auditions to recruit a new bassist and keyboardist.
The singer said the group were using the method following the success of their search for a new drummer last year.
“We were lucky enough to find drummer Mike Byrne through an open audition process so why not open the doors again to anyone who might be interested for the bass or keyboard position,” he said.
Corgan, who is the only remaining original member of the band, said “everyone” was welcome to apply for the audition.
“As you can see from our past and present, age, race, or a person’s background is not an issue,” he added.
You can apply for the positions via the following contact addresses: pumpkinsbass@gmail.com or pumpkinskeys@gmail.com. - Top 10 Amazon MP3 Downloads
